This is a hand-printed Prussian Blue Cyanotype greetings card that would be nice to frame. I print each of my cards by hand, using the photo-sensitive Cyanotype process and a digitally produced contact negative. The negative of Clevedon Pier was printed onto water-colour paper and affixed to good quality white card. Blank inside, the card is 15x15cm and comes with a good quality white envelope.

The Cyanotype process is a 19th Century photographic process that uses iron salts and sunshine to create a beautiful Prussian Blue colour; it is the original 'blueprint'. In the 1800s, botanist Anna Atkins was the first person to use photographs to illustrate a book by using Cyanotypes and this is the same process that I use today!
