Inspired by a visit to Sculpture by the Lakes near Dorchester. This circular painting is full of depth and movement. Fresh, clear running water with the light glinting off the fishes as they dart amongst the weeds.
I have used iridescent powders to highlight the fishes scales.
This painting has over 20 layers of beeswax and damar resin applied to a birch ply circular panel. It can be polished to a high gloss and is ready for hanging.
